Description: The Marron is produced from barley malt, Saaz hops and chestnuts added during the mashing. The aroma is intense and definitely geared to the tones of caramel and roasted malt. In the mouth it is fresh and structured with an amazing citrusy/spicy finish and delicate perfumed notes of chestnut flour.
Combinations: recommended with all of the dishes that are prepared with chestnut flour or fresh chestnuts; excellent with aged cheese, roasts, stews and tripe with spices.
Recommended dish: baked stuffed capon
Recommended pizza: Gorgonzola, walnuts and sausage
